Perla Algranti Nassi

Perla Nassi was born in Izmir, Turkey in 1951. Her love of painting began in high school, where she studied the works from the classical school, while developing a strong admiration of van Gough, Toulouse-Lautrec and Pissarro.
She immigrated to Israel in 1970, and upon the birth of her third child in 1975, she began her studies at the Avni School of Art in Old Jaffa, Israel. During her training period at the Avni School, her work was based on her imagination.
Upon ending her apprenticeship to the present, her work is abstract, primarily acrylics and watercolors, in bright, bold hues, and is ever evolving, influenced by events of her childhood and daily life, in both Israel and abroad. Perla continues to contribute to the painting and arts community in Israel, with her constant instructional presence at local painting groups in Herzlia, Israel.
